《文化地圖》推動社區創意工業,希望開創空間給大家認真思考藝術跟文化如何活化社區。「Kai玩笑」旨在發動火炭首個社區藝術展,將新舊商戶,城市生活等創意泉源透過藝術活動及展覽跟大眾交流。「Kai玩笑」讓一眾沒有工作室的藝術家 (不論專業或業餘的,當然也包括視覺藝術學生) 能夠將作品展現於人前,甚至讓作品得到出售的機會;讓大眾有不同程度的參與之餘又樂在其中,甚至將創意藝術帶回家。

「Kai玩笑」藝術展笑聲活動如下︰
 
 
1)「潮爆」皮影劇 (4-5:30pm23/01)

大型木偶皮影劇(香港藝術發展局資助) 有極具原創性的大師傅黃暉與浸大學生李鈺山的「潮爆」預演。

2) 熊熊「列」火

本地著名作家西西女士的手縫熊,不只是teddy art,更身穿著中國各個朝代或中國小說的衣飾,實在是中史與藝術的結合﹗同場更加入社區企業具創意的軟玩具、傷健藝術家Sonny 示範並教授如何做親手一針一線縫製的手縫熊以及出售西西女士的最新著作《縫熊志》。

3)手袋遊街去火炭過往是中港進出口貿易中心。因此,我們通過展示曾在火炭工作6年的手袋買手,現在是文化地圖的主編,李嘉言的現實經驗,重現這個社區的歷史與創意。該區的工廠及進出口貿易公司也將獲邀參與展出裝載著火炭歷史的手袋。

4)Art Fair我們致力支持年青一代原創的藝術品,同時亦想延續展覽的意義,讓參觀者把創意帶回家。於是,一個既有錄像藝術、各式畫作及雕塑,又得到老中青藝術家支持,展出並出售琳琅滿目的藝術品的Art Fair 便誕生了﹗

5)Kai玩笑」講座

1.何慶基先生與李嘉言:從買手文化論述到本土的 “金必多文化”

2.陳智德博士、劉建華先生與羅文樂先生分別以西西的《我城》與活化廳的社區藝術,講述社區文化的呈現與再現。

3.梁美萍博士、皮影戲專家黃暉先生與浸會大學李鈺山同學共同創作的MJ皮影戲預演,還分享師徒互動的創作過程,實行開拓藝術新領域!

6)毛毛熊、拼貼畫工作坊(16,17/1)

CULTaMAP aims at promoting community creative industry, hoping the public to consider how arts and culture can revitalize a district. “‘Art’ you ‘Kidding’ me?!” is to launch the dialogue of the mass public and Fo Tan community arts, such as old and new businesses, urban life, ecology of artists. The exhibition or even selling of artworks from different generations and hidden artists is possible through “‘Art’ you ‘Kidding’ me?!” so that various folks can integrate with arts and even bring art home.

‘Trendy’/Traditional Shadow Drama

The Grand and ‘Trendy’ Puppet and Shadow Drama sponsored by Hong Kong Art Development Council. Full of originality!

Teddy Art at Fo Tan

The hand-stitched teddy bears by Local famous writer Hsi Hsi are more than a teddy art. The teddy bears wear clothing of different Chinese dynasties or novels which makes them a blend of Chinese history and art. Disabled artist, Sonny Chan, will also demonstrate how to make hand-stitched teddy as well as the sale of the latest book of Hsi Hsi.

Handbags Parade

Fotan was an Import and Export centre. Therefore we would like to represent the community history through exhibiting the real experience of Tracy Lee Ka-Yin, a handbag merchandiser who worked in Fotan for 6 years and she is the chief editor of CULTaMAP. Factory and trading company would also be invited to exhibit handbags which carry the history of FoTan.

Art Fair

We are committed to support the original young artists as well as to maximize the impact of the exhibition by selling affordable art to visitors. Therefore, Art Fair combining exhibition and selling of video art, 2D paintings and 3D sculpture was born!

Art Seminars

Various renowned cultural figures are confirmed as our guest speakers during our exhibition period, such as Mr. Oscar Ho, Dr. Leung Mee Ping, Dr. Chan Chi Tak, Mr. Wong Fai, Mr. Jaspar Lau Kin Wah, Mr. Law Man Lok and Mr. Lee Yuk Shan.
